Pet Sitting for your best friends!

Why choose a pet sitter?

Kennels are a strange environment for pets used to living in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.  They can be very stressful and unpleasant for nearly all cats and most dogs.  They tend to be noisy and full of commotion with little human interaction.

The strange, unfamiliar environment can make it an unpleasant or even frightening and miserable experience for many pets. I have found that my animals have done much better staying in their own home environment when I've gone away.

I would like to provide my pet sitting services to you so that you can take that vacation and not worry about your pets.  They can stay at home where I'm sure they'd be much happier, and I will come in and take care of them for you.

Services Offered:

Mid Day Breaks (Value)  -  $7.00 per visit, up to 3 pets

~      A 15 minute visit to your home for a mid day break, consists of a turn out for potty break, checking food and water bowls, and a little play time too.

Regular Visit** -  $9.00 per visit, up to 3 pets

~      We will make daily visits to your home  while you are on vacation.

About me:

I have been an animal lover since I was a little girl, and this love for animals has continued to grow with me.  I personally have 1 dog that I adopted from a shelter, but over the years I have had bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, cats, horses, chickens and even pigs.

I promise to treat your “babies” as if they were my own; be dependable, honest, and trustworthy; protect and respect your home and property; and fulfill my commitments.  You should know, however, that I am a mother of a little girl that does at least one visit a day with me.  She is a little "Dr. Doolittle", all animals love her and she is very gentle and kind, I allow nothing but love for any animal!  If you have animals that are not "kid friendly", I can still try to help you so please call.

During my visits, I will follow your normal routine in caring for your pets.  I will provide fresh water and food; give personalized attention; clean up after them; and give any needed medications.

Preparing for a pet sitter

Ensure that there will be enough food, treats, kitty litter, etc. for the time you will be away.

Let your pet sitter know where your dog's leash is kept.

If you have a carrier for your pet, let your pet sitter know where it is kept.

If your pet is on medication, notify your pet sitter ahead of time.  Leave detailed instructions on its use, even if you tell your pet sitter verbally how it's administered.

Put ID tags on each of your pets.

Provide outdoor pets with plenty of water, shelter, and a secure enclosure.

Leave toys for your pet to play with while you're away.
